NCHRP Report 1036: Guide for Roadway Cross Section Reallocation is a first-of-its-kind resource to redesign streets in a manner that reflects community needs and interests. It features a decision-making framework for developing and evaluating cross sections based on transportation safety, mobility needs, and communities’ priorities such as livability, equity, and environmental and economic health. Join guidebook authors Conor Semler, Meredyth Sanders, and Mary Raulerson for a presentation of the guidebook and framework and a discussion on how we can apply this tool on testing solutions for our roadways.
