Pete Jenior of Kittelson & Associates, Inc. will provide a demonstration of PennDOT’s new web Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) Tool. The tool will evaluate the capacity and safety needs of intersections and produce a Benefit Cost analysis for several different design alternatives.
The web ICE Tool replaces the current Excel-based ICE tool and adds additional functionality such as planning level traffic operations analysis and predictive safety analysis. Come to this introductory session to learn more about the tool, watch a demonstration, and practice using it yourself with an example at the end. Participants are encouraged – but not required – to bring their own laptops so they can try out the tool themselves.
This November 16th session will be an in-person only event. Two future online-only demonstrations will be offered at a later date.
