Dr. Miranda Blogg of Kittelson & Associates, Brisbane, Australia, is currently managing Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Performance and Operations Team including their managed freeways program. This program includes research, policy and guideline development, and regional support. During this lunchtime session, Dr. Blogg will overview the existing and future functionality of their managed freeways program, as well as implementation lessons. Miranda Blogg, PhD, PE, RPEQ Associate Engineer, Kittelson & Associates, Brisbane, Australia
Miranda has a Bachelor in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Traffic Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology. Since completing her doctorate, she has worked in transportation planning, traffic engineering, research, and teaching, encompassing a wide range of modes and tools. Between 1999 and 2007, Miranda worked in Kittelson’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office, and returned to Australia to open Kittelson’s first international office in Brisbane. Miranda has conducted a variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering and research projects. She is skilled in the use of a wide range of modes and tools that aid her in providing accurate information and innovative solutions for transportation systems.
